“My favorite thing about being a student here at UP is all of the different people you get to meet. With UP being a smaller school, it allows you to get to know more students and faculty on a deeper level, which, for me, enhanced my experience here. I really enjoy that the class sizes are smaller, and the professors are always willing to work with us, especially when we are traveling for sports.

So far, my experience at UP has been very life changing. Being a student, here, has pushed me to be the best student I could have possibly been. It has helped me be prepared for the real world by learning from the classes I need for my future job and internships. I am on the women’s soccer team here at UP, and my teammates have definitely made it a family here. All sports teams are very supportive of one another, which makes student life electric.”

“My favorite thing about being a student at UP is the community. UP’s community is something that has made a big difference to my experience, here. Everyone, from the staff to the student body, is always warm and welcoming. One major thing that I do appreciate is that the staff at UP is always willing to sit down and chat. I have found that no matter who you are the professors are willing to put in the time and effort into whatever you need as a student.

I have had many different wonderful experiences at UP so far. The first of many that have helped transform me as a student is when I took philosophy with Professor Pietropaoli. The class helped me view the world differently, and I was able to wonder into the question of: “who am I?” This experience and many others have helped transform me into the person I am today and what I want to be in the future.

What excites me about being a student at UP is my future. UP has helped me have a head start on my future. The professors are always helping me find new ways to better myself, whether that be volunteering or exploring opportunities within my major.

My experience at UP has been something I will always remember! I have created many friendships that will last a lifetime. I have met so many people that want to help me better my future. Most importantly, at UP, I have become closer in my relationship with God.”
