After spending 4 of the best years of my life at University of Providence, I decided to pursue my dream of playing professional basketball. I stopped playing 2 years after, coming back home (Zaragoza, Spain) and working as a manager for a company that sends student/athletes to the US, pretty much what I did while I was a student at UGF. Now, I have changed my job and I have been working during the last 6 months as a director in the Zaragoza area of a weight room company called VivaGym. There are currently over 100 of them around Spain and Portugal and I get to manage 2 of them. Kelly Quick gave me a great understanding of what managing a weight room is about. Also, my life has always been around basketball and sports in general, and that obviously has made the transition from one job to the other easier. I currently manage 18 employees and we offer a great variety of activities, from Body Combat to Body Pump or Spinning and, what is more important, I really feel like I am doing something that I love and at the same time something that can affect other people´s lives positively.
