Course Search Instructions
The University offers a variety of courses that may be of interest to you based on your line of work, experience and interest areas. To better assist you in finding the courses you need, please use these tips to navigate our course schedule.
Step 1
Within the course schedule, select the semester you are interested in taking courses. At various times, there may be as many as three terms available in the search. Ensuring you select the appropriate term will ease your path in finding courses that fit your interests and needs.
Step 2
If you are unsure what type of courses you want to enroll in, you can use the green ‘search courses’ button to obtain a full list of classes. If you are unsure what type of courses you want to enroll in, you can use the green ‘search courses’ button to obtain a full list of classes.
If you know the course department, such as business (BUS) or mathematics (MTH), you can select those in the Course Code filter. You may also filter and search by course title or instructor if you would like to take courses from a specific UP faculty member.
Step 3
Once your search is complete, you will be able to find information about the course title and section, course instructor as well as scheduled meeting times. If courses are listed as asynchronous they meet fully online and are usually identified by a section indicator that begins with AS. On campus, face to face courses, will be identified by listed times and days of the week the course meets as well as the campus building and room where the class is held. Please note, the course search will also indicate if the course is open or full and how many seats are available. Once courses are full, we are unable to process requests for CACE students to enroll for that semester.
