The application period for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs of the University of Providence opens April 1, 2020 for students who wish to begin the program in January 2021. The application deadline is June 1, 2020.
This is an Accelerated or Second Degree BSN Program: This track is for students who already have a bachelor’s degree with a major other than nursing. To apply or to find out more about this program and the prerequisites required, please visit our website.
This program is completed in three concurrent semesters (Spring, Summer and Fall with a graduation date of Dec 2021). All lectures are completed online. All clinical content is completed in person at one of the three clinical sites: Lewistown, MT; Anchorage, AK; or Medford, OR. The nature of this intensive program of study requires that the students commit to full-time study without outside employment and be in full-time residence in one of the three clinical sites.
Providence St. Joseph Health caregivers and dependents receive a special, reduced tuition rate and a priority rating for their application.
The University of Providence is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. In addition, the BSN program at the University of Providence is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
