GREAT FALLS, MONTANA – The University of Providence’s online RN-BSN program has been recognized as the top online RN-BSN program in Montana for 2025 by RegisteredNursing.org.
This marks RegisteredNursing.org’s ninth annual ranking, evaluating programs on several key factors, including academic support, licensure preparation, and career advancement opportunities.
“Being chosen number one in Montana reaffirms our commitment to excellence in nursing education and validates the hard work of our faculty and students. Ultimately, this ranking is not just an achievement for UP—it’s a celebration of our students and their success. We are proud to be a trusted choice for nurses seeking career advancement, and this recognition only strengthens our resolve to continue delivering an exceptional, student-centered learning experience,” said Shelly Granger, UP Associate Professor of Nursing and RN to BSN and ABSN Program Director.
UP’s online RN-BSN program is a 12-month program designed to provide a pathway for currently practicing RNs with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Designed to meet the needs of working nurses, the online RN-BSN program utilizes 100% online learning, asynchronous courses, and a cohort learning model to prepare RNs for future opportunities in registered nursing and beyond. Nurses who enroll in UP’s online RN-BSN program learn highly transferrable skills in leadership, patient-centered care, and administration – skills they can apply immediately into their nursing practice.
UP also offers several other nursing programs. Click here to view the full list.
