Biography:
Deanna Melton-Riddle is the Program Director for the Masters in Healthcare Administration program at the University of Providence’s School of Health Professions. Melton-Riddle brings over fifteen years of experience in teaching and education experience and over fifteen years of experience working in various healthcare settings and positions related to healthcare administration and healthcare leadership prior to joining the University of Providence’s School of Health Professions in 2022.
Melton-Riddle’s educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Health Administration at Central Michigan University, a Master of Science in Human Services Administration from National-Louis University, a Masters of Public Health in Health Education & Promotion from Parker University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chicago State University. Melton-Riddle holds two certificates, one as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and the second as a Registered Phlebotomy Technician.

- Ministry with my husband, being creative, bowling, and spending time with family.

- The bible, water, and seeds.
- What is the most challenging aspect of working in healthcare, and how do you deal with it?
- Hearing patients and their families express despair when dealing with certain diagnoses. I encourage the patients and families and add my faith through prayer.
