Dr. Jared Roberts is core faculty in the clinical mental health counseling master’s degree program. He obtained his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from The George Washington University. Dr. Roberts typically teaches professional ethics, crisis counseling, psychopathology, and provides clinical supervision to students during practicum and internship courses. As a mental health counselor, Dr. Roberts works as a generalist treating a variety of issues. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and as a Partner Recovery Therapist (PRT).
Dr. Roberts scholarly interests include clinical supervision, counselor theory development, and counselor education. During his free time he enjoys time with family, sports, cooking/eating, running, and traveling.
