Rose Whitney

Board of Trustees

Rose Whitney has the responsibility of supporting the Central Division Executive Team in effectively partnering with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic commitments and serve the evolving needs of Providence, their patients, and communities. She is a trusted advisor and operational leader that leads key strategic initiatives, projects, and programs for the Division.

Prior to serving in this capacity Rose was the Director of Population Health for the Washington Montana Region of Providence and was instrumental in building a regional population health structure and supporting the region in their endeavor to shift to value based reimbursement. She has held many roles in Providence over 10 years of service in strategy, finance, and population health.

Prior to joining Providence, Rose worked in tax accounting, health care finance, and consulting.

Rose received her education at Washington State University with a master’s in health policy and administration. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from Eastern Washington University and a Certified Public Accounting license in Washington State
