Legal & Paralegal Studies Degree Program Overview

The University of Providence Legal Studies Program is approved by the American Bar Association. The online format is accessible and flexible, preparing students for challenging paralegal positions or for law school.

Upon successful completion of the Legal Studies degree program, students will be prepared to enter the workforce with numerous skills. Some employment opportunities can be found at law firms, and state and federal agencies. Employment can also be found in law-related jobs in business, with job titles including Trust Officer, HR Manager, and Risk and Compliance Officers.
Internship Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available, and you will receive school credit for your completed hours. Legal Studies students may intern where they choose, once approved. Past internships include:

- Out of state opportunities can be approved through the organization and your advisor.
