Career Advancement and Continuing Education

Introducing Career Advancement and Continuing Education: A New Initiative by the University of Providence

Have you ever thought about enrolling on one of our classes? Have you been wondering about how you might upskill in a certain area such as mathematics, analytics, arts, philosophy, grant writing, legal studies, management or sciences? Are you simply curious about a particular topic or subject and would like to learn more?  Are you an employer who would like to support your team in advancing their skills or professional development?  Would you simply like to experience university education again or maybe for the very first time?

If you answer yes to any of the above questions, this is the opportunity for you!

The University of Providence provides over a hundred classes every semester. This new initiative  provides an opportunity to enroll in  classes that meet your need, inspire you or seize your imagination. We offer both online or on-campus options for students interested in enrolling. In many cases, classes are recorded and available outside of normal daytime hours.

To review our spring schedule, please visit the Schedule of Classes and you can search through our extensive list.

Tuition Information

  • To enroll for college credit: $750 per 3-credit hour class
  • To enroll for non-credit: $500 per class

Important note: Some of our classes require prior knowledge, training, or prior enrollment in prerequisite coursework. Information about this can be found in the course description. You may have this knowledge from experience, prior training, or from past coursework. If you are unsure about your level of prior knowledge we encourage you to enroll in the prerequisites first so that you can be successful in your chosen class.

We are providing this new initiative for the people of city of Great Falls and surrounding areas in the tradition of the University since 1932. You will take the classes along with our students who are pursuing degrees and they will get the opportunity to learn with you.

If you require further information or have any questions, please email Michael Mulvey at michael.mulvey@uprovidence.edu. We hope you are inspired to enroll in one of our classes for the Spring Semester 2025.

The deadline to enroll for Spring 2025 semester is January 21.
